The Mission:Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).
Why 1001 Days? Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple goals such as New Year’s resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
Official Start: October 9, 2009
Finish:July 6, 2012 (If I started yesterday the end date would have been my birthday 2012!)

Kay. I read the first 7 and then stopped. I want to write my own list of 101 things and then compare. Eeeeee! Fun.
ReplyDeleteYay! I thought that you'd like this concept. :) I did my list in about 2 days, but had been thinking about it for about a week because a friend of mine was doing it.
ReplyDeleteWOW that list looks EFFED in explorer...in firefox it looks totally normal. How can I fix that!?
ReplyDeleteGood luck with number 68!!!
ReplyDeleteThere are several things on your list that I would be interested in doing as well! So maybe we can do them together!
